We will be performing a series of planned infrastructure migration of database servers across multiple locations. This maintenance is required to keep our databases up to date and operating optimally and includes the replacement of end-of-life hardware with a new, vendor-supported compute and storage platform.
During the maintenance window, we will perform maintenance on backend processing services and on message distribution services. During this period some customers may experience temporary errors, retries, or delays when using account-related or message distribution workflows. If your use case depends on time-sensitive account changes or message processing, please avoid critical operations during the affected windows and retry once the maintenance is complete.
Additionally, customers may be unable to perform write actions on account-related resources such as creating accounts, updating accounts, creating or updating API keys, creating or updating users, and similar account administration actions. Existing account information may still be visible through cached read-only endpoints, but that information may not refresh until the maintenance is complete.
Customers may also notice failed or delayed account creation or update requests, temporary failures when managing users or API keys, stale account data in read-only views, retries or delays in backend processing, and temporary delays in message distribution workflows during the later part of the maintenance window.
We expect read-only access to cached account information, Security Center, and messaging channels to remain available during this activity. Traffic delivery via SMS and all other messaging channels is also expected to continue working during the maintenance.
Normal operation is expected outside the maintenance windows. Once the maintenance windows end, normal operation should resume and cached data should begin refreshing again.
